It’s a humble yet sincere attempt to bring out the spiritual meaning behind these powerful boon conferring verses to laymen. Today, on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadasami, with the blessings of my Guru and the Goddess Lalithambika, I embark on this wonderful journey of blogging on the esoteric significance of the Lalitha Sahasranamam. The Vaak Devis then, presented this Lalitha Sahasranamam in the Goddess’ darbar in HER presence. Lalithambika, conferred the art of speech on these Vaak Devi’s and asked them to compose verses, the recitation of which would endow HER grace and blessings. The Sri Chakra has 9 avarnams and its worship is known as Navavarna Puja. The Vaak Devi’s reside in the 7th avarna of the Sri Chakra. Lalitha Sahasranamam, composed by the Vaak Devis, finds a very unique place in the Brahmanda Purana.
