On my PC I can easily run the game at 60 fps with v-sync on so why lock the framerate down to console levels? Oh right, it's a console game, isn't it? Double tut!ĭespite those gripes, I'm still looking forward to checking the game out thoroughly later on.
The game's framerate is capped at 30 fps. what moron decided that AA is only for lower detail settings?!? Stoo-pid. If you set the detail level to High then the AA option is greyed out and there's no in-game AA at all. The Display options allow you to switch between Low and High detail levels but you can only have anti-aliasing (AA) if you use Low detail. Altering the in-game Gamma setting doesn't fix it, if anything it makes it worst. It's immediately noticeable as the game loads as the Activision logo background is grey not black. There's something horribly wrong with the game's default contrast/brightness levels as the game's blacks look mid-grey and all the colours are washed out.
First impressions, unfortunately, are not good for the following reasons:ġ. I installed the PC game this morning prior to work to check out the tutorial.
